In a basement or technical room with no signal, does it work?

The app uses the phone's GPS for location, and Wi-Fi or 5G to transmit the alert. With no signal, we send the last known position before coverage was lost, giving the security control room and the center a usable search point. For cellars, vaults and deep basements, wave physics doesn't allow miracles: we favor a usable radius rather than false precision.

Will it drain the battery during a 12-hour shift?

The app stays in standby most of the time. Continuous location tracking is an optional, non-mandatory feature: without it, your location is only sent during an alert, the battery impact over a shift stays manageable. For long night patrols or sites without an outlet for the phone, the Pro+ panic button has its own 10-day autonomy and doesn't draw from your phone.

How do you avoid false alerts on patrol?

Several safeguards: a cancellation window on the officer's side before transmission for automatic detections (immobility, fall), human validation by the APSAD P5 center before any escalation to emergency services, and threshold tuning depending on the type of shift (mobile patrol, static post, lift work).

We already have a security control room and a radio, why add Safee?

The radio transmits your voice, not your accurate location or video. Safee complements your control room: on trigger, the control room receives the exact GPS location, a live video and audio, and every event goes into a timestamped logbook. Safee runs on 4G/5G or Wi-Fi and does not replace the radio: the two tools complement each other, the radio for daily communication, Safee for the timestamped record, doubt resolution by the APSAD P5 center and admissible evidence.

How much does it cost to equip a team of officers?

Pricing is public and without long-term commitment, available in the pricing section of the site. The Pro plan (app + alerts + dashboard) starts at a per-officer per-month rate, the Pro+ plan includes the physical panic button. The 24/7 monitoring service operated by our APSAD P5 center is available on quote based on the number of officers, sites covered and response instructions. Free 14-day trial, no credit card.

How long until a team is operational?

The Pro plan activates in a few minutes per officer: download the app, create the account, invite via the company's dashboard. The Pro+ plan with panic button ships in 48 to 72 hours. Setting up operated monitoring requires a scoping phase to define alert instructions and response process per site.

What duration commitments? Can we cancel?

The Pro and Pro+ plans are monthly with no commitment: suspension or cancellation from the dashboard, effective end of month. For 24/7 operated monitoring, the commitment is annual, specified in the quote based on officer volume and contracted instructions.

Is Safee compliant with the expectations of a CNAPS audit or an APSAD?

Our monitoring center is APSAD P5 certified, a standard recognized by insurers. Every alert generates a timestamped logbook (video, audio, location, center actions) exportable for a CNAPS audit, a complaint or an insurance case. Data is end-to-end encrypted and GDPR compliant. Safee also meets the L.4121-1 employer obligation of the security company toward its officers.
