Calling 17 requires you to pull out the phone, dial and speak: impossible when a customer is facing you. Safee triggers without pulling out the device, sends your live GPS location to a human operator, and notifies a trusted contact in parallel. The timestamped record stays usable for a complaint or your professional liability case, which a 17 call doesn't produce.
How much does it cost for a craftsman alone or with one or two employees?
Our pricing is public, visible in the pricing section of the site. Per-user monthly subscription, no commitment, free 14-day trial, no credit card. You equip your employee or employees as needed, you add or remove a seat from the dashboard. 24/7 operated monitoring is on quote if you want a dedicated response process.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly subscription with no commitment, one-click cancellation from your dashboard, effective end of month. No penalties, no hidden renewals. If the tool isn't useful to you in summer, you suspend it.
Won't it go off on its own while I'm working?
Automatic detections, like fall or immobility, can be canceled before transmission if you've just set the phone down to screw something in. For transmitted alerts, a human operator calls you back to confirm before dispatching emergency services. Thresholds are calibrated for on-site use.
How long until I'm operational on a job?
Five minutes for the Pro plan: download the app, create your account, invite a trusted contact and it's active. The Pro+ plan, with the physical panic button to wear, ships quickly via La Poste. No installation, no technician visit.
Will it drain my phone's battery over a workday?
The app stays in standby most of the time. Continuous location tracking is an optional, non-mandatory feature: without it, your location is only sent during an alert. For long jobs or rooftop renovations, the Pro+ panic button pairs with the app via Bluetooth and has its own battery (10 days depending on use), so it doesn't drain your phone.
If a customer assaults me, do I have proof to file a complaint?
Yes. Each alert generates a timestamped record with the time, location, and the audio and video captured during the event. These elements can be retrieved for a police complaint, a professional liability case, or a claim with your structural insurance. Only you can access them from your account.
What if I'm in a cellar, basement or co-op with no signal?
Safee combines GPS, Wi-Fi detected, cell tower and last known position. In a basement or cellar, we send the last known GPS position plus the cell tower ID, which lets the center locate you within a usable radius for emergency responders. As soon as you come back up, the full data is transmitted.
