Does Safee meet my L.4121-1 obligation and the Risk Assessment Document?
Yes. Safee covers the employer obligation to protect isolated workers (L.4121-1 and R.4512-13 of the French Labor Code). Our center is APSAD P5 certified, a standard recognized by CARSAT and insurers. You can view at any time from your dashboard the timestamped history of alerts, responses and tests, ready to attach to your Risk Assessment Document during an audit.
How much does it cost to equip my workers?
Public pricing, no long-term commitment. The Pro plan starts at €5.37 per user per month (app, alerts, dashboard). The Pro+ plan at €11.37 per user per month includes the physical panic button and priority support. 24/7 monitoring operated from our APSAD P5 center is on quote based on site volume and SLAs. Free 14-day trial, no credit card required.
How long to deploy on a site?
The Pro plan is operational in a few minutes: each worker downloads the app and joins your site. Pro+ buttons ship in 48 to 72 hours. For multi-site deployment or with monitoring, a Safee expert frames the alert flow with you.
My guys won't wear it, or they'll lose it. How do you handle that?
It's the most common objection on site. Two answers: the alert is silent, no permanent beep humiliates the worker in front of the team, and fall detection thresholds are calibrated not to trigger on a work movement. Result: the tool is tolerated, then adopted. The Pro+ button clips onto a harness and can be triggered with a glove on.
On an underground site or in a vault, does GPS work?
The app uses the phone's GPS for location, and Wi-Fi or 5G to transmit the alert. With no GPS signal, we send the last known position before coverage was lost, giving emergency responders a usable search point. We don't promise perfect GPS in a deep basement: that's physically impossible.
How do you avoid false alerts at height?
Three safeguards. First, a cancellation window on the worker's side before transmission for automatic alerts (fall, immobility). Then, human validation on the APSAD P5 center side before escalating to emergency services. Finally, threshold tuning by profession: a roofer at height isn't calibrated like a seated equipment operator.
What's the duration commitment, can I cancel anytime?
The Pro and Pro+ plans are monthly, no commitment: you suspend or cancel from your dashboard, effective end of month. Operated monitoring is on annual contract, specified in the quote based on site volume and response instructions.
Am I tracking my workers all the time?
No, and that's a deliberate choice. The worker's location is transmitted only at the moment of an alert, manual or automatic. Outside of an alert, neither you, nor the center, nor anyone sees where they are. The project-manager dashboard shows your sites and their alerts, not individual GPS trails: you cover your liability, not coffee breaks.
