Does my client or anyone see my route continuously?
No. Your geolocation is only activated during an alert (panic button, fall detection, or trigger from the app). Outside of that, your location is neither recorded, nor visible to anyone, nor sent to our center. From the app, you can view the full history of transmissions: you know exactly who saw what and when. Safee is built to protect you, not to track your route.
How much does it cost for an independent driver?
Pricing is public and visible in the pricing section of our website. The Pro plan (app, alerts, live sharing with a trusted contact) and the Pro+ plan (app plus physical panic button to wear) are billed per user per month, no commitment. 24/7 monitoring from our APSAD P5 center is on quote. Free 14-day trial, no credit card.
Can I cancel anytime?
Monthly subscription with no commitment. You suspend or cancel from your account, effective end of month. No penalties, no hidden renewals. If your activity stops or you change clients, you cut it off in one click.
Won't it trigger a false alert every time I drop a parcel?
Automatic detections (fall, immobility) can be canceled by you before transmission. For transmitted alerts, a human operator qualifies the situation before escalating to emergency services: you're contacted to confirm before any action. Sensitivity is calibrated for mobile use, not to go off every time a parcel is set on the ground.
How long until I'm operational?
A few minutes for the Pro plan: you download the app, create your account, invite a trusted contact, you're covered on the next route. The Pro+ plan with the physical panic button ships quickly via La Poste.
Will it drain my phone's battery by the end of the route?
The app stays in standby most of the time. Continuous location tracking is an optional, non-mandatory feature: without it, your location is only sent during an alert. For 10-hour days or late depot returns, the Pro+ panic button pairs with the app via Bluetooth and has its own battery (10 days depending on use), so it doesn't drain your phone.
Does Safee replace a call to 17 or to my support center?
No, Safee complements them. A call to 17 doesn't give your exact location or a timestamped video record. With Safee, emergency services arrive at your exact GPS location, a trusted contact is notified at the same time, and you have evidence to attach to a complaint or an insurance case.
What if I'm in an underground parking lot or stairwell with no signal?
Safee combines GPS, Wi-Fi detected, cell tower and last known position. In an underground parking lot or stairwell, we send the last accurate position before signal loss plus the cell tower ID, enough to direct emergency services to the right building. As soon as you regain network, the alert is completed automatically.
