In a basement or technical room with no signal, what's the point?

We don't promise perfect GPS underground: that's physically impossible. The app uses the phone's GPS for location and Wi-Fi or 5G to transmit the alert. With no signal, we send the last known position before coverage was lost, giving emergency responders a usable search point. Your supervising partner automatically receives the information as soon as it's transmitted.

How long does the battery hold during an on-call shift?

The app stays in standby most of the time. Continuous location tracking is an optional, non-mandatory feature: without it, your location is only sent during an alert. For night on-call and long routes, the Pro+ physical panic button has its own autonomy, around 10 days depending on use. You don't depend on your smartphone's charge.

What about false alerts when I work in a static position?

Automatic detections (fall, immobility) can be canceled by the technician within a short window before transmission. Thresholds are calibrated by profession: a technician leaning over an HVAC cabinet doesn't have the same profile as an electrician in a lift. And in case of transmission, a human operator qualifies the situation before escalating: you're contacted to confirm before any emergency-services action.

How much does it cost to equip a team of itinerant technicians?

Pricing is public: the Pro plan (app alone) and the Pro+ plan (app plus physical panic button) are billed per user per month, no long-term commitment. The 24/7 operated monitoring service from our APSAD P5 center is priced on quote based on the number of technicians, on-call hours and response instructions. How long until a team is operational?

Pro plan: download the app and create accounts, a few minutes per technician. Pro+ plan: devices ship in 48 to 72 hours, on-site onboarding is quick. For operated monitoring, plan a scoping phase with your planning manager to define instructions, escalation and supervising partner contacts.

What are the duration commitments?

Pro and Pro+ are monthly with no commitment: the employer adds or removes a technician at any time from the dashboard. For the operated monitoring service, the commitment is annual, specified in the quote based on the environment and response instructions.

Does Safee meet employer obligations for isolated workers?

Yes, Safee covers the employer obligation under L.4121-1 and R.4512-13 of the French Labor Code for the protection of isolated workers (lone worker device). The monitoring center is APSAD P5 certified, a standard recognized by insurers and consistent with CARSAT requirements. Timestamped history export is available to attach to the Single Risk Assessment Document. Important: Safee is not ATEX certified, do not use it as the sole means of protection in an explosive zone.

Will my employer see my location all the time?

No. Geolocation is only activated when an alert is triggered (manual, physical button, or validated automatic detection). Outside of an alert, your location is neither recorded, nor sent to the dashboard, nor visible to the planning manager. They see which jobs are covered, not where you are. From the app, you can view the transmission log: you know who saw what and when.
